🛋️ Fi's couch report

England parked the bus. Argentina found a way through.

“England looked like it had one foot in the World Cup Final.”

Instead of continuing to attack, England dropped almost everyone back on defense to protect its one-goal lead—a strategy soccer fans call “parking the bus.”

Against the defending champions, that is a dangerous game to play. England invited Argentina to keep attacking, and two late goals completely flipped the game.

🤯 Sports fun fact

Argentina is trying to become only the third country to win back-to-back men's World Cups, joining Italy and Brazil.

💬 One thing to bring up

England was winning with five minutes left, but Argentina scored twice at the end and completely stole the game. Now you know.
